Evaluation / HUD: How to uncheck?

Hello Guys :slight_smile:

Something simple I guess but somehow it is not really working, here is the case:

1.) Under Display > Heads Up Display
2.) There is the option: Evaluation
3.) I want do uncheck this via MEL / Python

For all the other options it is working and I can disable it or I can set it to invisible. After turning on “Echo All Commands” it just shows me this line: ToggleEvaluationManagerVisibility

That is working but I do not want to toggle. I just want to uncheck it ALWAYS … Does anyone know the mel command to uncheck Evaluation for the HUD?

If you look in defaultRunTimeCommands.mel for ‘ToggleEvaluationManagerVisibility’ you’ll find that it calls ‘ToggleEvaluationManagerHUDVisibility’. That’s defined in initHUDScriptsEvaluationManager.mel. In there, you’ll see that it ultimately invokes SetEvaluationManagerHUDVisibility which should be what you want.
