Eureka Seven / Cannabis Works | 2d Illustrations Studying Design Principles

#1

Hello,
I was hoping on receiving feedback on a few graphic design works I did based off on fanart. I was studying all the basic design principles such as balance, emphasis, visual hierarchy, rythym and unity, as well as manipulating space for positive and negative, illusion and perspective through lighting and composition. I would like to ask if I may receive a thorough view on any alterations that can be available with these images. The second is still a work in progress while the first is finalized in my point of view from cancellation of what could and could not be shown through my study of the masterworks. Any comments and critiques are welcome and highly valued.

Why are some of the characters all squashed?

The lower text on the top image is unreadable.

Hello Bleke,
Thank you for your reply. I will follow through with your comments I am wondering which image you think the characters are squashed do you mean they are not that visible instead or still perspective distortion. I was thinking the text on the lower bottom where it reads the title is unreadable I think I will darken that lower part as well. May you direct me to which image has the characters squashed. All these images had original characters in photos than masked for photo manipulation. Thank you for coming by please follow the thread as well so we can have a great discussion.

I meant these two

Hey Bleke,
I am not sure why on your picture the frame is squashed. I think it could be due to your screen resolution or browser resolution. I can tell it is different due to the text on the bottom of the character. Your picture has the text a little tight while on mines or the real one is a bit loose. Were you trying to fix the picture if so thank you.
