Error1: Cannot Create Video Capture Filter

Hi,

This is the exact error message I’m getting every time I open Combustion 4.

“Error1: Cannot Create Video Capture Filter”

I’ve been getting it since I installed the app in the office, but I can click “ok” and then open Combustion to work.

However this is becoming a serious problem for net renders since it will never start the net rendering as an error with that message pops up. Any clues?

I believe this is associated with windows (running XP pro) and not combustion directly. I thought the “Capture” options in the “Preferences” was associated and put it to “none” but it seems it doesn’t.

Need some help urgently, at least I don’t need a video capture filter, how can I prevent it from seeking it.

Sorted,

Just replying in case someone else gets stuck with this.

It is totally irrelevant to Combustion but it might cause trouble to it.

Remove or reinstall any present or old (forgotten:P) camera,webcam etc drivers from your machine, that should do.
