Guerrilla Games is looking for an Environment Concept Designer preferably with an architectural or industrial design background to work on its Flagship Title Killzone.
The Environment Concept Designer is responsible for most of the games architectural and industrial environment designs. His / her main job is to supply highly detailed blue-prints and designs of the game’s most complex urban environments and assets to the production artists. He / she participates in all phases of the design process and must have good social and communication skills. As part of the Visual Design Team the Environment Concept Designer works to create an original, consistent game world. He /she will work with together with Level Designers, to create a high quality gaming experience. A background in Architecture or Industrial design is highly preferred.

[li]Are passionate and have good knowledge of industrial design, graphical design, architecture, art and culture
[/li][li]Are passionate about popular visual media like games, movies, comics, video clips, etc
[/li][li]Are comfortable working in a multi disciplinary team
[/li][li]Are comfortable to work within a predefined style.
[/li][li]Have excellent creative skills and insight
[/li][/ul]Additional Requirements Environment Concept Designer:
[ul]
[li]At least three years of experience in any professional creative field, preferably Architecture and/or Industrial Design
[/li][li]Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in relevent area (Design, Architecture)
[/li][li]Excellent personal and professional portfolio
[/li][li]Excellent technical knowledge of design software and techniques
[/li][li]Strong communication skills
[/li][/ul]Your application should be supported by relevant work examples. Your portfolio should contain a broad selection of personal and professional work.
Apart from end results, we would like to see full process as well: sketches, first drafts, etc. Work saved on a CD or in print is preferred.
