Enviroments in Messiah

Hi All,

Coming from Lightwave, I’m confused using the Environment and Background Spheres in Messiah Studio. I’m trying to set up a simple gradient with black at the zenith and blendind to blu and then sunset colors on the horizon. All I get when applying the gradient fresnel is one solid color.

Please advise
