I’ve been working on this for a long time, a year ago and still not yet finish… She’s an elf, I want to add costume or an armor. What do you think is best for her costume?

Elf Princess Portrait: What else should I do to improve this?
Here is the update of the elf I’m working on, I’m confuse if I will paint her body, I want to put arms holding some vines hanging and the background are walls of castle, something like that…
Never work on any body part in isolation and then later try to add more to it. If you want to portray an entire figure, then you must sketch out the entire figure first to make sure the pose works, the body language effective, and the facial expression works with the body language to convey whatever it is you want to convey. You have to learn to approach your images holistically, laying down the proper foundation for everything that’s supposed to be in the image.
Thanks again sir for a helpful advice, sometimes I end up lazy finishing my painting when I do isolation of body parts… But depends on my mood and time of work, I painted this during breaktime and I have a different work not related in what I reallywanted to do. That is why when I started to paint I loose again the motivation when its time to work again for food…
