Are they all LW renders? or did you use kray or fprime? or other?

It’s all Lightwave, compositing done in After Effects. I used to use FPrime but, to be honest, I haven’t used it since 9.3 came out. It does some quirky things with certain nodes and I think that LW’s renderer looks better and is often faster. It also makes you focus more on what you’re doing rather than just throwing stuff at it just because you can. Final Gather has helped so much too, once you understand how it works it makes life so much easier.

I’ve had Kray on my “to buy” list for a long time but I’m not convinced that it will ever get out of beta and I’m not sure what it will help me with that I can’t do with Lightwave and a little compositing.

I’ve finally got to the stage where I know a few tools well enough for what I need and don’t play around with much else. Currently 95% of what I do is Lightwave, Photoshop and After Effects, the other 5% is Outlook and Call of Duty 4 :smiley:
