Editing uv map to match altered model

#1

I am modelling two milk cartons, they are exactly the same shape, one is just twice as tall as the other. I have a perfect model and uv map for the shorter version, but I now want to create the taller version. I have duplicated the smaller model, then spilt it in the middle, moved the two halves apart, and then stitched and sewed the edges together to make the taller model.

I am struggling with editing the UVs to match the new model so my taller artwork fits the model perfectly.

Can anyone think of the best way to do this?

Figured it out, a better method and very easy - instead of splitting the model, I just pulled the top half of the model’s polygons up, then moved the top loop of the lower half of UV points up and snapped them to the raised half. Bingo!
