Easiest way to diminish particle emissions over time?

#1

I have to have a particle emitter slowly diminish the number of particles that it emits over a period of time. Is there a simple way to do this? I can’t seem to find a way to do that?

Thanks,
Mahlon

Animate it!

#3

Do you mean, animate the particle amount over time? When I try to do this, even though autokey is engaged, no keys are being created for that spinner. That’s why I thought there must be another way.

Toot my own horn:

Just use a Bezier Float instead of a Waveform Controller

Thanks, HornBerger. That’s the trick.

Johnny, toot your horn all you want – that’s a great technique to use! Thanks.

A water splash when an engine breaks off a Boeing 777 during a water landing – not something the pilots really want to experience first hand. :surprised
