Dynamich curves and mesh deform by strand


If you simulate the points of a curve with ice. To make it behave with dynamics. how can you go about pining some of the points of that curve to a surface?. I want to instance geometry along the curve (i have searched around to do it with strands but it doesent seem possible now, but if anyone knows ill be happy to do it better with them.)
Another question. Is it possible to deform a mesh by strands? to make it behave dynamicly?
