So I wasn’t happy with my last character and decided to go in a different direction entirely, the result of that:

Derrickson: nice character, though it’s not really a portrait? Are you going to crop it or leave it like this? Anyhoo, really love your style, very professional.

j4Q: Starting to come to gether real nicely, but I feel the dog’s head should just be a tad bigger with its current body…

Neobear: I like the design you did, but the white pieces of cloth ‘read’ very bad, because the background is also white it looks like there are holes in his body…also, you might want to put some more red into the armour, as these are the cgtalk colors…so why not make the white banners red, and solve 2 problems at once…:smiley:

Reklas: Cool drawing! A small crit would be to have the yellow lighting only come from 1 direction, as itnow looksl ike it comes from multiple direction. Maybe only from above-left, and then hit the yellowlight hit the arm with the sword from above (instead of from below as you have it now).Very cool drawing nonetheless!

Didde: can yo upost a bigger version? Looks promising though, smal as it is…:slight_smile:

Wildbrew: Nice character, maybe you can give the eyes a more fishy look though, work a bit more on the expression. I often let my characters look to 1 side (pupils in the corner of their eyes), it’s a quick way to give eyes more expression

Gonna work on my version some more, hope to finish it tomorrow!
