Final images:

Hi all,

It was so excited to take part in this challenge! maybe I knew the news late from my friend.

Here is my first concept of demon Prince. I’ll continue to update the post with the most recent concept.

Any comments and crits are welcome.

“Demon Lords are larger than 20x20x20 feet and do not possess any human characteristics.”

I think this makes a nice Demon prince though.

#3

Nice drawing  I agree with KevinCCAD though. This would fit better as a prince.

Hi KevinCCAD and Martin Nielsen,

I intend to change this demon class,
just like you said that it looks like a prince.
thanks for your nice suggestion.

any comments & crits are welcome.

#5

update a concept of the demon prince, I try to mix right image with left image and add a CGS’s wing on the back.

#6

update some ideas, hope to be better than before.

Hello

I really like the last concept on the left side. Looks very special. But this wing/fragments on his back will surely need much polys. Would be curious, how you solve it. Or you just pick the right one, which would be easier to model, but wouldn’t have this unique touch… Hard decision…

so long

Hi!
I like how you put the logo on his back in the picture on the left. It’s looking great!

I also took a look at your portfolio… really awesome stuff! I remember seeing your village pictures on huge posters at Winking in Shanghai

Hi DarkBliueArt,

Thanks that you like it. About the question of polys.
I’ll make this logo simplify in order to reduce a lot of polygons, If I’m going to use the concept of the wing.

I still want to try more concept again and again

Hi Soggyclog,

thanks for your compliment and visiting ShangHai Winking.
I’m so glad that you like the village picture.
I’d worked at Shanghai Winkng for 4 years until last year I came back Taiwan.
It’s so pity I didn’t meet you in Shanghai.
next time, welcome to Taipei Winking if you go to Taiwan and have the time.

Cheers!:applause:

Really cool concept, It’s good the idea of use the logo on his back, but I would like to see a more organic shape on it (like the right sketch in previous concept) Keep it up!

#13

I began to next step of 3D making. this is a basic model, I’ll continue to update it and concept…^^

#14

Cool love how you’re using the logo on his back, makes him look epic xD!

#15

Hello, Maxter and Navigator Jones,
Ha-ha! thanks you liked my idea, I knew you were curious about how did I use the logo on his back…this image is my new idea, I hope the logo looks like wings and claws…but now, it’s too rigid,
I should find a way to improve it soon…XD

cheers!

Very impressive concept!
I’m interested to see how it lill turn out. :arteest:
There is jut one thing that bothers me… it seems like the insignia part on the back is of some sort metalic armor or something. Won’t it be too hard for the character to hold the balance and not to fall back?

In this concept i see a great potential to tur the insignia into a some kind of levitating throne, which would be appropriate for the demon prince btw. But that’s just a suggestion.
I’ll be keeping an eye on this thread.
Good luck

Nice concept!! Could you post side views. Its easier to see the weight distribution that way i think. I think the feet may need pulling back just a bit. Its probably due to the poses but the posture seems better in the concepts.

CGtalk FTW

update the model!
