johnwoo: Thanks dude.
Man, this is so complex! It would be great to see it animated, specially when the shield deploys. Keep it up.
looking very good, keep it up we still have precious little time before the tides of war crash on our shores :applause: , all the best, esto es esta poniendo re bueno metele duro viejo, un abrazo!
hey, great character!
Why don’t you add some details like rust, scratches and dirt to the texture?
Even with a low opacity they will add something to his looks!
I think a model like this would benefit from a more unique shader, maybe something that makes it look cel-shaded or anime like. Some darker outlines around key pieces would help separate the forms more, right now a lot of pieces tend to blend together.
Alicce: Thanks for comments and suggestions.
. Sure, i will add some dirty to textures, but first i must finish wityh colors.
HausFly: Thanks for sugestions. I will try to separate a bit the volumes with some darker outlines, how you said.
Its looking great! But you know? I would definitely bake some ambient occlusion into the diffuse. It kick serious ass man, keep it up, just one more week
Cheers!

Finding the color. Not sure with that red color. Any opinion or suggestion about colors will be very helpful.

Hola Iban, RHK 47 is looking good. I think you should stick to the red version (cuz after all that’s one of the team colours) but with a few modifications.
Instead of having the red areas all over the place, it might be better to use them with moderation, only on specific parts you want to draw the attention to, like the eyes and the logo on the shield.
Another possibility that may work very well is to place red omni lights on the eyes and other places on the character, and paint the surfaces with different shades of grey (or play with matte vs reflective surfaces), instead of colouring them. You could also play with different textures instead of different colours.
All in all, with all the hard work you’ve put into making an such an intricate model, colouring may not be as important as lighting. A well thought out lighting scheme will make everything pop. Here are 2 links about 3 point lighting that may be of help:

Espero que te sirva, mucha suerte!
