sooo tired XD IMPORTANT! Please let me know if this shows up REALLY dark on most of your monitors! I work on seperate computers for graphic related stuff, and things seem darker to me on this comp than on the other…so please let me know!

The image is not too dark for me by the way, I’m on a mac and my white point setting is about 6500k on my monitor.

You still have a ways to go but I’m wondering if you’re going to do something else to the background to help your beasty stand out from the background tone which is close to the same color as its flesh?

Also, I was thinking the leg brace would match your concept more closley if it were less “perfect” in form (maybe a bend or a dent here or there with some rust on it).

I quite liked your suggestions Segvoia, and I’ve implimented them, and you’re right, the brace looks much better! :smiley: As for the background…ahahah…not my forte, I’m affraid, but I try! I’ve slightly changed his skin tone and darkened the sky a bit…chugging along! Hope you get to finish!

EDIT: good lord I just noticed I’d completely forgotten his wrist brace. Wow. Add that to the list of things to add lol…

Ok, the ‘Dominance War IV’ is either going to be a place holder for until someone tells me where I can download the DVIW logo, or it’s the final thing given that in all liklihood no one will tell me :shrug:

Also, I made an executive decision to get rid of the pets, from the peice if not the concept on a whole. There pallette was too ‘bright’ compared to him, and distracted too much. It just didn’t work so I took them out.

I’m soooo ready to be done :D! Just have to compose the concept sheet and text sheet, which is easy enough. Then bam! DONE!

Also, I’m paranoid, and very tired, so although I’ve checked my spelling three times on this, if anyone notices something ridiculous, please give me a smack and tell me so.

Oh, definately, mate! I think next year I’ll try my hand at the 3D side of things…though I have to teach myeslf normal mapping and baking and guh so much work lolol XD! But I’ll be there!
