DWIV - 2D - DerRoteBaron - Absolutus

Hi to all! Great to see that war is warming up here on Cgsociety.With this thread I am official in in 2d competition. And I hope for fantastic time to spent during this two months, useful comments and meeting lot positive artists.

After a few days researching here and there, I decide to create a Norm Giant Warlord, and named him Absolutus.
Think that is a pretty OK idea, and help Norms to stop the upcoming invasion.:)   
So I will start to draw some basic ideas from tomorrow, til next post, here is the first Text picture for my 2D entry.

Well, here are some thumbnail sketches, don’t know will the final concept look a like it, but I am now preoccupy with armor shape and working on it’s mechanics. About body shape, proportions etc… the reference defiantly will bee Shakill O’neal.

Finlay I manage to find some time for my DW IV character. I have pool the 8th most interesting figures from previous basic thumbnails and here are the drawings.

:thumbsup: Thanks on positive critics, and I am glad that you like my character.
Well, about background: I agree, but I am rather to increase the color contrast or some levels than to darken it, because we talk about one “Norm” here and it’s seems to me they are the defenders of light. Background details not shore about that.
