That last update looks wicked cool! Maybe blow the demon baby heh and his pet up a little more as right now he isn’t the focal point as much as he should be. Just my 2 cents, This is def going somewhere tho!!!

Goodlord this is stunning, this is what i’ve wanted to see! hurrah! XD!!!

#25

beautiful stuff. I’m enjoying the classical, painterly look of this one.

Hello

that little ugly bastard makes me shiver. Great work so far. Really strong design. I would play a bit with colours. At the monent it is very brownish overall, maybe you want to add some darker or blue tones.

this will be incredible, after cheeking out your Portfolio I’m sure this will be one hell of a pic, and I agree you need to focus the attention of the viewer more on your character. all the best!

Those sketches are very impressive. Interesting to see how it will translate to colour - looking a bit dark at the moment but I guess that’s because it’s very early on (and I’m in a very bright room!)

Thx guys for comments.
[left]I know I need to work with the color, I have always problems with this
[left]but now it is not my biggest problem, I have some doubts about my main character.
Which character should I choose : evil child  or man in the hood  ?
[left]I wonder what you think.
Thx

Hello

well, my personal preference is defintely the child. Man with the hood is well, spooky and so on, but very much standard (before scary children with long black hair were ā€œinā€ (ring etc.) it were spooky man with hoods (scream, halloween, etc.). But this little bastard you created has something special on him. Although he should be cute and nice, he isn’t. And this is what interests me on this concept. Just my 2 cents.

The idea of something coming out of the tarry muck falling from the floating being is very sexy indeed. A human though? Unless you really want it to be a human, i’d change it to something crazy and twisted buddy, otherwise, neat job.

Maan… This is too much! :stuck_out_tongue: You just comfirmed the feeling i had about my own final paint, mine sucks… But i guess it’s not finished either…

I love your designs… And the final image looks stunning so far. The only thing that comes to mind is that the mount and character looks quite closed in and is not helping the flow and depth that the creatures behind it create. It also feels like the flow is stopped where the two characters backs meet, its like a line has been drawn from top to bottom there. I think you should focus more energy to create the same flow and doing something interesting with your main character becouse the creatures behind it is so gourgeous i cant rip my eyes from them. Maybe work with some more contrasts, background vs character or so… Keep it up, i bet its gonna be awesome!
