About the seize of the eye i agree, i scaled it down a bit. But about the glow effect i was aware that it may take the focus. But when U try and look at the character from a distance then, by watching at the eye i still gives the feeling that It and the character is a whole, rather than two seperate things. At least i see it that way, and it was what i was going for. Actually this Eye is some sort of cocoon for some part his astral body. The story will reveal more details about it.
Anyway i think that the final wersion will balance things out. :arteest:

Hey, really like what you’ve got going on. wont mention the eye as i think everyone else has made that point.

i think you could move the camera in on the head and body, maybe have the viewpoint right in on a dynamic pose with the eye floating behind and exaggerating the overall silhouette, with the wings pointed into the corners to drag your eye into the center of the pic…?

Look forward to seeing what happens next!

About moving camera and making a dynamic pose, i explained that it’s going to happen in final illustration. And i’ll keep your suggestion in mind.

Here are some new sketches.
This is the true form of Lord Omnisferatu… This is how he once looked before his transformation. Now this is his astral body that resides within this creature.

P.S.
I know it won’t be used or anything, i just wanted to get it out of my system. :smiley:
Although i have an idea how to integrate his astral body in the final illustration. But that’s just a thought.

Here goes the latest update. I upgraded his magical weapon. Personally i think overall character looks better. What are your thoughts people? :beer:

Here goes the latest update.
There are still some things i want to polish up, like for an instance add more detail to the wings etc. I also wanted to colour this piece but i’ve decided to leave it as it is for now and polish it up + Colour it after i finish the modeling sheet and the final illustration. I’m already one day behind my schedule. So time is slowly running out and this version is very OK for the concept sheet i think. By my calculations i should have enough time to finish everything and have a spare time which can be used for final editing.
Today i want to complete the concept sheet so starting tomorrow i could move on to modeling sheet phase.
