Well, I finally have a concept that I think should work.
The story for this guy so far is that he journeyed to Paradise (Eden), defeated the Cherubs that guard it, and took their swords.
Other then that I have not yet decided on many aspects of the design (i.e. dark vs. good hero type, fire vs. holy, etc). I’m leaning toward dark.
By no means do I believe this is the most original concept or design. However, this is the first time I’ve tried anything like this. It will be a lot different then my usual puttsing just practicing art and looking at other people’s work.
My job doesn’t afford a lot of extra time for art so this will definitely be a great learning experience and new challenge. All feedback is greatly appreciated.
