Ok this is the first post just marking my territory for this war.

I will try to get story up here as fast as i can. English is not my first language so be patient with me if i don’t get all things clear at the first attempt.
The character I’m creating will be a little different then some character you’ll find here in the WAR. It will consist of a combination of an alien species and a humanoid character working as his steed.
My main Character (for which i don’t have a name right now) will be some sort of octopus like alien tied to his servant, who is somehow human. The Alien won’t be an octopus of anatomical correct shape. It will be missing one arm. (Maybe i should call him septopus 
). He is living as a parasite lifeform on the neck of his servant. His arms are controlling the movement and nerve system by chemicals that are ejected into the body of the servant.
The servant has no free will and will funtion as a close combat defense system for the alien. The alien species also is from a planet totally covered in water. Therefor he needs a humanoid servant to be carried over land and to be abled to have a sort agile movement on planets with a normal atmosphere.
Ok i stop here because i need to translate some more stuff.

ok then back in the WAR. The concept writing is coming along pretty good but i need to discuss some ideas with friends.
In the meantime there are some thumbs for the humanoid character and some scribbles on the alien with it’s armor.

hey master ;-),
seeing this the first time. looks interesting so far. think the basic look of the human servant is coming together. looking forward to see some detail drawings of his bodyarmor and his weapon thing. i’m very interested in the way the “septopus” and his servant be connected and wether the parasit can use his tentacles to do something with them, or is their only use to control the servant?
i think the first sketch of the parasit is nice so far, but i’m looking forward for some details - but your idea comming together in my opinion.

More update. Been quite busy over the weekend. Started to do a simple basemesh for sculpting sketches. Head is finished so far. The body does need some serious work that’s why i don’t post it for now.
As this is going to be not only my first DW entry but also the first serious attempt at game models i’m in need of some comments. The head has some errors so far but i will remodel it later.

Ok got frustraded for the first time tonight with the basemesh so i decided to go back to sketching. Haven’t done much drawing in the last years. still pretty stiff when drawing. i need to get back to this more often.
so here is the (not very good) attempt at a posed sketch of my the servant mostly. the alien is on the back so i don’t have to draw it in perspective for now
