Great start! The the body armor is looking great. It looks like you hit your concept spot on, except for the head, but I assume that it’s just a stand in.
DUDE!.. i love it. Love the battle ram… but I actually like the details on the tank… tanks actually seem to fit the story, on second glance… or at least something that is one single unit: a creature that is the artifact.
On the tank i like the round orbs… they look like squid eyes… which are creepy.

etd382: Yes, the head is just stand in atm.
blindsyte: His armour is powered by a fire artifact but obviously he needs a weapon so the battering ram is part of the artifact as well.

Here is update so far… I don’t have enough ram on my computer to render out the whole hipoly model together so I just took several renders of the stuff I have done so far. At the moment I am in the process of doing the lowpoly. I have not finished with the hipoly as of yet but will leave it for now. After I have done a few renderbump tests I will go back and refine or maybe add some more detail where necessary.
