I worked hardly on legs and here is the product. I took inspiration from paintings by Simon Bisley. Now I’m starting to work on BIG GUN :slight_smile:

Pretty cool. It would have been nice to see progress and not the nearly finished product.
Also, I think you should fix up his chest area, where his chest muscle (pectoralis major) meets the muscles on his ribs (serratus anterior), it looks like there is an indentation - causing it to look less realistic.

you have some good modeling going on, but the design reminds me of one of last years finalists

i also think that the gun idea sort of breaks the magic feel of the chalenge. i know that your idea is for it to fire magic bullets, but to me it seems like you should go more fantasy. what if he had a crossbow instead?

Looks good but your lighting is overpowering, especially the back light.

I dunno, I kind of like the harsh rim-light myself, it’s a bit different from the typical render. However, I have to agree with RedRepublik on all of his points: Both the gun feeling really against the spirit of the rules for this challenge, and in how much your entry looks like someone else’s previous entry.

But ignoring that and just judging it on its own merits, the modeling of the upper body and face is really nice. Anatomy is obviously your strong suit. :slight_smile: The pants feel like they could use a lot more wrinkles to make them believable. At the moment they look entirely painted on. Real jeans (or other pants) would bunch up and wrinkle where they got tucked into the boots or behind the knees. The painted-on hole in the left leg only call more attention to the lack of real folds. It’s the sort of detail that perhaps could have used more modeling and less texturing to achieve.
