Rough character concept.
Alvina an Elf Invoker that uses a Dark/Void enchanted staff artifact. For the weapon/artifact I want it to be an old ancient weapon recently found by Alvina. And I'll also plan to have the weapon push the futuristic-ness of it. I plan to have Alvina be more traditional fantasy but the weapon to be more mechanical. Like maybe bronze made, seems inbetween future and fantasy to me. I plan to totally redesign the weapon too with moving pieces or interlocking parts. My theory behind how the weapon works is that the staff itself is a container for the purple orb. At its normal mode the staff covers/coneals most of the purple orb and in this mode it does dark magic attacks. Then in some way, like a puzzle the staff and interlock and move pieces to reveal most of the orb and in this mode it can do a void attack that like sucks thing or people into it. As for her armor they're enchanted cloth armor that has the same durability as plate armor.

Alvina is a powerful Elf Invoker. She is able to draw energy and dark magic from her surrounding to dispose of her enemies. She wears specially tailored enchanted cloth armor; Very light and flexible yet as strong as chain mail.
Alvina recently the new owner of the Shadow Soul sword. It is an ancient artifact of great power. Imbued with dark and void power the Shadow Soul is a thousand times stronger than any normal blade. The user can also feed their dark magic into the sword to power it up. Once it is fully charged the sword can slash open a void portal that will suck anything in it's path into a dark abyss. This sword was said to be originally owned by an old and ancient demon, how Alvina has come to posses it is a mystery.
