Finally ! Congradulation for this great tool Eric D… I love it ! Thats will be a great tool for animators, for planning, try things, explore possibilities, to animate with a 2D approach in a 3D software, It’s so cool. To many possibilities offert for animators with this tool, I love that !

A quick and very accurate tool to plan out your shots in 2D and at the same time translating into 3D without any “export/import” step… right in your screen and with KEYFRAMES!

great tool! I use it everyday and i love it!

It’s worth bumping up this thread freely just like that because that tool owns too much.
Try it, you won’t be able to work without it anymore.

#7

that’s just what I was looking for!

But I use Maya and XSI, and I didn’t find anything for those programs, if you have knowledge of something like that for Maya or XSI i would really thank you.

Well for Maya there is Grease Pencil.

Yet I am currently learning Python to expand to the MAYA / XSI Market

#9

Thanks very much!

But how do you uninstall it? I deleted everything, but “DTools” still shows in the toolbar.

#10

Why would like to uninstall it in the first place ( kiddin :stuck_out_tongue: )

Just go to Customize / Customize User Inerface… - in the MENU tab, you will see your Menu bar, you can then delete the DTools Menu or the DViewPaint submenu if you have other DTools installed…

#11

Thanks very much, that did the trick.

Oh, don’t worry, gonna install it again later…

#12

It’s a really great script, i love it so much, not only for animation, also for modeling, the designer can correct volumes directly in the viewport without expressing it by voice but by drawings, it speed’s up the modeling and animation proccess, congratulations man!

And thanks!!!
