Dual Quaternion

Hey guys, I’m rigging a character in Maya 2013, and I tried turning on dual quaternion solving on the arm mesh to help with the forearm twist, but when I did it causes the arms to not follow the arm joints properly, flaring out at the shoulders and doing little weird things. Have you ever encountered this? Any idea what might be causing it? I have no clue :shrug: Thanks!!
