Dual Constrain

Hi all
can you guys help me to create doual constrain like in maya
for example
one hand parent to the sword and the sword parent to the right hand
so when i am animating the right hand the sword and the left hand goes with it all the time
and i can create nice arcs with my right FK arm

but in MB with the same setup
the left arm goes with the sword only in interaction mode but during playback
i see IK linear interpalation between the keys so there is no arc motion of couse and the arm doesnt follow the sword all the time

when iam refreshing the rig left hand snaps back to the sword so i need to key every frame

is it posible to do the same setup behaviour like in maya

or how do you guys solve those problems

I think I’m having the same problem, as well. I’ve constrained null1 to the right wrist effector of my character, and then parented null2 to null1. Now I need to constrain null2 to the left wrist effector, but I’m experiencing the same problem as you do.

I’ve just started out with MotionBuilder, and after many hours of playing around with this I decided to come here and see if there was a solution to the problem.

Have you guys tried creating auxiliary constraints for the hand you want ot follow the object?

You can also create a handle as a selection tool for all three objects (both hands and sword). Then you can move and rotate all three objects at once.
