drawing prefs

How do I enable “Live” drawing when moving an object?
That is: when I move something it disappears and shows the extents only.
I must have changed something a while ago, I seem to remember this was working for me on some projects.

OK it’s working now, I changed the pref to “small project”.
But where exactly is the checkbox/pref to turn this on & off?

That would be “Mouse Drag” in the drawing preferences.

Make sure it’s set to 0.
