►Drag select polygons in the middle of other polygons? 3ds Max

Hi,

I have an editable poly, once in it I want to select a bunch of polygons using drag select. Only problem is I cannot do it this way because every time I click to start to drag it moves the first polygon I clicked on.

I cannot start the drag by clicking outside of the faces because the polygons I want to select are surround by other polygons I do not want to select and this would only result in unwanted polygons being selected.

I googled it, Tried things like holding alt/shit/tab while dragging but no luck.

I’m sure there is a way though and I won’t have to select a whole bunches of faces manually? lol

Use the select tool. either from the right-click quad menu or the select button on the main toolbar.
