Has anyone had any luck with Vue 6 Xstream for XSI?
I’ve downloaded the PLE version, and so far it crashes too much when switching between apps to make it even testable. And this is with a Vue scene with just an atmosphere! Nice skies, would like to get it to work. But there’s no way to justify the expense with such a crash-prone application.
It often seems to be XSI that crashes when switching between apps. And XSI is generally quite stable on my computer. I’m using version 6.5.
I have an Nvidia Quadro fx1500 video card, which is supposedly supported. Are there any settings that anyone has found works well for this XSI/XStream connection? Or is the crashing something else?
Perhaps my workflow/usage of the Xstream connection is at fault. But, there is no documentation whatsoever for using XSI with Vue XStream, and the general Xstream docs do not provide enough information. The phone number on the Vue site does not work. My history with email tech support with Vue 5 inf has demonstrated that this is a poor solution. Has anyone been able to contact these people directly? Are they serious about this application working with XSI?
Any help anyone can provide will be much appreciated. No way can I purchase this app under the present conditions.
