Does Modo come both PC and Mac in the same box?

I have looked through and mailed to Luxology. However, did not get the answer I want yet.
I’m using mainly Mac and PC for 3D stuff. However, I do need to switdh from one to the other often. Thus, I’m looking for the software that can run both PC and Mac with the same license such as Lightwave.
As a Lightwave user, I’m interested in Modo to expand and speed my workflow, but want to know:
Does Modo come both PC and Mac in the same box? with hardware lock and two key licenses(like Lightwave)?

Thanks

No hardware lock. You get a single license for both platforms.

Thanks for the fast reply!

No hardware lock! Does it mean I can install Modo in both my Mac and PC and ue bothe at the same time with only one license.

Just kidding, I’m a freelance, hobbylist. I have only one brian and two hands. So, I can use only one machine at a time.

The reason I asked idto make sure I can switch between to two machine/platform easy, no node lock like Maya.

Thanks

Our philosophy is that when you purchase a license of modo, you are purchasing the right to use it wherever you like so long as YOU are the one using it. You can work at home on your Mac and at work on your PC. Its your license, not your computers license. As a software user I wish more companies had our philosophy.

In exchange for this we ask the users respect our IP and our business and use legitimate licenses. As well as shaming those who do not.

Thank you Brad,

I am aware of the right to use and hard working of people who make it. As a designer, I repect the other idea and hard work.
The reason I am interested in Modo is to find the software that will enhance my design. I have been looking at Modo very long since the time you and your team officially started Luxology. I have been hanging so long becasue I got Lightwave and want to explore deeply in the software I have before making any judgement.
Years of playing with it (we are not using Lightwave at work) I found some limitation in Lightwave as an architectural design tool. Lightwave is a good program, but was not design for designers to let their creativities fly. Looking at Modo withpur ever trying it, Modo looks promising as the design tool, not a production tool (at least for me). Iwas trained in old school, no computer allowed. that make me having the very good 3d visualiztion im my head and easily translate it to hand sketching. One of my 3d computer class professors always tell me that I don’t need to use computer, beasue I have a fast 3d computer in my head.
However, exploring and researching how the 3d software can enhance the design and crativities is my goal, and it is my hobby.
Last, for me, I will be the only one who use it and only at home.(not for work because the company didn’t pay for it, but I might convince them to buy it soon.)

Thanks again Brad, I will get Modo soon,
