Pullinshapes has for some reason removed this from their website. The script version for Maya just doesn’t work for me. Does anyone have the old stand alone version they can send me? I have it somewhere at home but cant find it
Does anyone have Roadkill UV stand alone version?
I think the Maya version is the standalone version.
The installation instructions say copy the mel file into Maya and “RoadKill the stand alone app will now be under Start -> Programs -> Roadkill 1.1”
I just checked and the link to the application is still there and works.

No, its not. Roadkill has always been a standalone application and is one of the 3 files in the archive. The contents of the archive are the same as it has always been. The mel script is not needed for the application to run and merely automates the transfer of data to and from Roadkill without leaving Maya.
Yeah 2015 / 2016 of Maya is MORE than sufficient for most UV mapping needs. And anything else there are plugins available.
Last time I used Roadkill - 4 years ago with Maya 2009 - Roadkill was integrated into the UVs Menu of Maya. I did all cutting, sewing and unrwrapping via the roadkill menu commands in Maya. A version of it was definitely integrated into Maya.
Before that I used the Standalone app which transferred the mesh to/from Maya and standalone, but the integrated version was far, far better!
I was having the same problem, but I found it. It does not matter how “complete” the new maya is… Sometimes, Roadkill is the best tool!
