.dng format and Camera Raw Connection fail

#1

Hi,

I would like to open and adjust the exposure for one of my .dng file in photoshop, however, this doesnt seem to work well in my case. Here’s what I faced:

-when I open Bridge and 2x click on the .dng file, photoshop says it does not recognize the file ducument. After googled, find out dat photoshop does infact support .dng, but strangely, mine can’t recognize it. Then I check my Camera Raw, and it’s in my com. So i continue and right click the .dng(in bridge) and open it with Camera Raw, still nothing happen. I begining to wander, is there a missing link between my photoshop n Bridge and how do I add .dng format into my photoshop?

I followed one of the photoshop tutorial in the net, the artist just 2x click on the .dng(in Bridge) and it opens up the Camera Raw. Mine nothing happen. Does anyone has any inkling y this happen and kindly comment?

Thanks a lot.

Figure it out! The answer is just so simple, yet spent quite some time on it. Just d/l the rite version of camera raw n paste it into PS’s plug! Done.
