I don’t see why it wouldn’t be legit. Looks like bitcoin mining but for render.

Using rendering as a proof-of-stake in the blockchain seems like a good step forward from wasting obscene amounts of electricity on pointless hashing ; the part i don’t get is how they are planning on dealing with the (typically very large) scene data transfers.

In other words : what’s the target audience and what’s the business model really ?
