Displacement map extracts with wireframe



I wonder why my displacement maps are extracting with the wireframe.

The attached displacement map (TIFF 16-bit FP) was extracted using the Subdivision method, and I’m applying the map to the lowest SubD of the final sculpt, so topology is the same.

I’ve tried other file formats too, same result. Raytracing does not give me a decent map at all. Any help would be much appreciated.

have turned on smooth lvl0 mesh in the bake settings…?


Thanks! I turned on Smooth Target Models, Smooth Target UVs and Smooth Source models and I got a clean map.
