Does anyone know about the new version (coming soon) D.F.4 ?
i’m digital fusion user but i think to change to Shake … :-S which is going to be the most used compositing software, for special fx and motion graphic…

Currently we are on track for a Q4 2002 or early Q1 2003 release on Linux.

digitalfusion is great.

4 has a new cache feature…

4 coupled with a couple of render nodes. is bascially like a flame…
and will give shake a huge run for it’s money…

if you get to play with 4…
the ideal system is a 4 gig ram system with fast gigabyte network.
with 8 or 9 render nodes… 2 duals are just fine.

with the new cacheing features in 4… your talking realtime… 2k plates!!

its sweet.
alot of nice improvements… specifically to ram.
like
ok fusion only use 80% of availble memory…
read no more crashes…!! i wish 3d programs did that more.
