Difficulty with image stabilizing

I’m playing around with motion stabilizing but keep getting bad results.

The file called shaky is the footage as it was shot, the file called stabilized…
wel you get the point. When my footage is stabilized ( I used the white dot
on the computer, but also tried with other points ) AE starts stretching
my footage in weird ways.

It’s not just with this shot, I keep getting the same result on different shots and
different trackpoints. Any idea on what’s causing it or how I can improve my
stabilization ? Footage shot with a canon 5d.

PS. I’ve also tried with Mocha, but got similar results…

It looks like you only stabilized position but not rotation, is this right?

In Mocha, did you enable to track position, scale, and rotation?

Another option is to track a corner pin in mocha which allows to also to track shear and perspective. With my script MochaImport and Red Giant Warp, you can then stabilize based on the corner pin data.
