differences between floating point and nodelock

#1

Hi I just have a quick and probably/ hopefully easily answerable question.

I notice there are two difference versions of MotionBuilder 7.5 one being the floating and the other being the node- locked version. What exactly is the differences between the two versions and what (if any ) advantages or disadvantages are there to either version?

Thanks in advance

Hi.

As the words say:

Node locked: License only for one MAC Adress (One PC) and only this PC!
Floating: License can be installed on any PC, but only one at a time. You have the possibilty to switch MB to another PC. ->More Expensive…

Cheerz…
