did you need to do advanced rig alot ??

Hi,
i am doing rigging in max and maya and felt alot of time that i dont need advanced rigging because i animated alot of characters without any need to advanced rig. i just want your to share your experince that do you need advanced rig all the time or what…

Not normally. Some advanced things are helpful, but if you look at rigs like norman or moom (which have both been animated brilliantly loads of times) they’re fairly simple. A lot of times when people complain about a rig not being advanced enough it’s just their lack of creativity.

Typically, I favor automating my setups to the point where any advance setups are just as straight forward to craft as standard.
