DESCENDAND - green screen question

#1

In regards to color keying/compositing. Any hints on getting good results from green screen reflections? The scenes where typing is happening on the black slick surface… I can’t seem to get a good extraction of the green for the reflection of the hands. Right around 5:15.
Thanks for any ideas. Just using the default color keying in After Effects.

DESCENDANT

After creating CUBE I was left with the thought of, “What now? Where does it go from here? The possibilites are endless.” Not long after, ideas came pouring out of my head to create DESCENDANT. The first idea was slowing coming to a conclusion around a minute and a half into the story when a flood of ideas took over. I couldn’t resist but continue down the path.

This happend multiple times along the entire creation which produced a few loose ends and an over 6 minute video. I was initially worried about the loose ends of the story and previewed it to a few friends of mine. They all had different takes. Dramatically different takes! I was intrigued by this so much that I decided to leave it as it is. I find it enjoyable that people are allowed to assume as they wish.

I hope you enjoy.
