density emission map, Image sequence

hello

I’ve attached a working Image sequence ( I mean, It’s working as a color map, no problem at loading time) to fluid emitter Density Emission Map

but It just uses the first frame for emission ant ignores the rest of frames?
is something wrong or I did it wrong?

I think Image sequence doesn’t work, but animated noise did the trick

I have a similar problem with particle texture emission. One solution is to turn on texture view in viewport and asign a surface shader with the emission texture applied. this forces the texture to update per frame. You could also try to set the texture node dirty with “dgdirty texturenode”.
