Demo Reel Shots

Hey Everyone,

These are a couple of my shots for my demo reel. The first one is going to be motion capture animation with keyframe animated hands and face. For now I have just been working on the zombie’s skin shader as well as the lighting.

My second shot is going to be a morph shot. The plan is match the movement of the plate head with the cg head. Then render it off and use Nuke spline warp or something similar to do the morph in 2D. Right now I have been working on just matching the movement. There is one really bad dip part way though but I think the rest is pretty close.

Anyways, I hope you like my ideas! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

I will hopefully get the mo-cap on the zombie this week as well as the textures on the head and I will post an update.

The matchmoving in the second video still needs some work.

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven’t been keeping up with posting WIPs. I have been crazy busy trying to get things done. Anyways, I finally got the mocap data for the zombie the other day. There were and still are some problems with it. I fixed up what was most distracting and rendered it out.

There is also an issue with the AO on the ground and the shadow passes because the mocap data causes his foot to go through my ground plane in maya. I moved the ground plane down to the lowest point where is toe is kicking off but now the shadow and AO aren’t in the right place.

I also still have to do the cone simulation properly.
