Demand for Game development tutorials?

Re: Darkor.

Yeah, load of tuts on how to create a DirectX interface and graphics - but not much in the way of the game itself…

Re: Sadistiko.

I’ve heard of the Torque engine - but can’t seem to remember much about it…:hmm:

How about you make a tut?:stuck_out_tongue:

Ah well, how you’re gonna accomplish that would be kinda hard wouldn’t it? Games in the same genre all use different techniques and all that. It would be difficult to come up with a one size fit all solution.

Re: Darkor.

Well, I don’t want to drag this - I simply don’t have the time to churn out a Tut this side of Chrimbo.

However - I would like to present some ideas to people when it comes to tackling the design phase of their game’s code.

If someone has come up against a brick-wall in their design stage - I’d like to give them some “food-for-thought” by showing them how I and others go about solving the problem.

One of my aims as always is to encourage others to develope their own techniques and plans - they could find my suggestions to be inefficent. And thus they would find a better solution.

And therefore - by giving them a start - they would learn to become self-reliant insted of believing that there is only one way to approache a problem…and that is definetly a prized skill to have!

Cheers.
