Yo, guys!
Ummm…I’m very grateful for this recent “rivival” in interest for more game tutorials…but I’m kinda busy at the moment!
I replyied in this thread about four posts ago - that explains my current situation…
I would, however like to make one point…my tutorials aren’t specific to one single language or app. I believe that games programming is a labour of love - not simply a case of who has the best technology or the most popular app…:rolleyes:
Check out my first tutorial in this section of CGTalk to see what I’m trying to accomplish. If you want code to setup DirectX or OpenGL - forget it! Go and get a book by Andre LaMothe or Robert Dunlop if you need technical help…they are the Gods of programming - I don’t even compare!
What I teach is basic games programming that most books on the subject totally skip. Making a basic menu is perhaps the most common feature in any game - but you aren’t given any clue as to how you should go about it. And Text-engines - not a Dicky-bird! Amungst other stuff…
