Hope things have been all right for you since your surgery. Love the updates, and I look forward to seeing more of your sculpture work.

mister3d - i understand what you mean. i’m no master though, still have lots to learn!
DriftingEmber - they seem to be, but now I’m constantly on edge and super paranoid that it will happen again. then i’d need 2 surgeries, that’d make a nice addition to my bills already. but hopefully it doesn’t come to that. i’ve started another bust, life size this time. hopefully i can finish that soon, but who knows.
no, not lasik. i wish it was so simple. i had a retinal tear when i was 16 from getting hit with a baseball. i had laser surgery then to seal up the tear. then in July this year my retina started to detatch, which isn’t likely, but can happen after previous retina surgery. so i had a pretty intense surgery called a scleral buckling, which puts a silicon band around your eye. 25% of the time it doesn’t work. i was in the 25%, it re-detached and i had another surgery where they inject a bubble in the eye. it appears to have worked since then, but as i said, I’m still on edge.
Sorry to hear that. I can totally relate, as I have some health problems too. I know exactly what on edge means. Let’s hope foe better.
a few weeks ago i forced myself to sketch a bit, something i don’t do enough. i scanned them on put them in one pic.

imagination? no, i wish though. when i draw without reference i tend to only do eyes and faces and end up playing with them a bit. i think i posted some of that on here awhile back.
i started this in December, but gave up on it. now that i have some time while waiting for my demo reel to render, i started again. i might take another break while i figure out how i want to continue.
