Hello everyone,

here is todays image:

#1222

My focus was the plastic look of her cloth, the rest of Bianca I styled cartoonish, because she remind me of Baroness from G I Joe.

Hey Chris,

very, very nice. I like the glossyness of the rubber. Good job

#1224

nothing 2 say

#1225

Needs more contrast…

[left]ChrisGreyKnight - how do you render the highlights on the rubber. Is it all painted or do you use the dodge and blur tools?

New York, New York…Big city of…whatever =)

#1227

zorn1, very nice.
Good use of texture in the wall.
Did you use any reference for that? If yes please post it.

#1228

hey everyone,

here is the image for today.

#1229

hey everyone,

here is todays image.

#1230

No update for today since there are two unused pictures.

#1231

Hmm. I think I just speed painted the wrong image. x.x; Oh well. D: I always start off on the wrong size canvas too shot

#1232

hey augizzle no problems at all. Doesn’t matter what picture you take. Older or newer. About the canvas size: Normaly I take the reference image, delete it and blow the resolution up so that the bigger size is somewhere around 1600 px.

#1233

Hey everyone I hope you had a nice weekend.

Here is the image for today:

#1234

27 min… I’m not content because I couldn’t work on the face expression anymore… and, and, and…

#1235

Here is one from today. Again, I’m starting from the begining on these. I hope to catch up to the current pic one day. This pic was a challenge and the fact that it was to be done in 20 min took it to the next level for me.

photoshop 20 min

#1236

hey Kageko and vicmonty. Nice efforts and good colors in both pictures.

Just as a side note: You don’t have to restrict yourself to 20 minutes but that sometimes helps to keep you from spending all day on this exercise.

#1237

hey everyone here is todays image:

Hey there fellas, as a bit of advice - don’t be afraid to use harder, more jagged brushes.

Might also want to try creating some custom brushes of your own, particularly with environments - they can help to cut your painting time down exponentially.

Keep it up.

#1239

am joining this thread to keep me painting from time to time  and here is my 20m speed painting for the last photo
