A sweet fairy…

#382

here’s my attempt of todays subject:

felt not really comfortable with this one. Don’t know exactly why (45 Minutes)

#383

Damn it, why is painting so difficult, I mean, we see the world, as it looks, every day for hours, since years, we know how it looks like, why we can’t just paint it then.

#384

hehe, funny that you had your problems with that picture as well. I had a hard time.
But I like your scribble. I mean there are some problems like the left shoulder or the right arm. But in the end I like the way you made the pose more dynamic and in my eye more sexy.

#385

that was easy!

#386

Ha, ha fischkopf, very funny. Your picture is not that bad though. But it seems that you approached it a bit light hearted. Which is not bad in general. But I know that you can give more effort. If you are in the mood.

I think the buttom it not well defined…because there is not much information in the ref picture. But you could have used some linework for her skirt to cover that.

#387

i don’t know if its just me, but some drawings seem like a big, vicious fight. in the end i feel frustrated and don’t realy learn anything…feels like a void in your mind, as if you had forgotten how to do something. call it a bad day.

#388

Welcome aftasardem:
Well I would say that you allways learn something. But I know what you mean sometimes it just seems just not right for a really long time. But if you continue you will see that it will come toghter nicely. It’s just a question of patience sometimes.

#389

Here’s todays image. We haden’t have a landscape as reference for some times now.

#390

hey, thanks man!
i’ll keep that in mind!

#391

Here’s my desert landscape 20 Minutes:

Here is my desert 10minutes

#393

As allways, looks easy, but it isn’t…

#394

wow vyse-soa: you put a lot of detail in that picture. Really nice. I think that it looks really good. Good texture, good colors, sharp and clean. Good work.

#395

And this is the image of the day tricky perspectiv:

#396

about 40 mins

#397

well after watching how some of u have really improved doing this exercies I fell it’s my time to try. the only problem for me is my dog ate my wacome tablet. (literally chewed through the cord.) so i’m back to using my mouse for a week or so. but here it is nothing to brag about but hopefull I will improve over the next few weeks.

#398

Hi Wind and welcome,
Ha funny story to hear, first it sounded like the common school excuse. Theacher my dog ate my homework :scream:. I couldn’t paint with the mouse this is for sure. So I’m currious if we will see a diffrence once your wacom is back. Thanks for stoping and paricipating.

#399

Thx, TedNindo.
I had some problems with the colorchoice and the saturation, but I’m pretty happy with it too.

Man, but I really suck at drawing people…

Hello there,

following this thread for about few days now and it looks like a lot of fun. I have also tried to do a speedpaint of the current image and here is the result. (20 min)

She has really long legs, I should open a much bigger canvas next time.
