Then this may be the position you’ve been looking for! *Luma is an artist owned, artist run visual effects studio with a strong emphasis on studio culture. *We’re serious about having fun and are looking for someone who is committed to making sure our studio is lively and enjoyable and a home for our crew. The Culture Coordinator’s role will constantly strive for excellence using a combination of sound coordination skills and a can-do, positive attitude. The successful candidate must be comfortable with rallying crew, pushing the boundaries, and be incredibly positive. *The role reports directly to the Culture Manager and is a full-time position from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of after hours work on occasion.You Can- Plan and execute engaging activities and events for the MEL studio on a regular basis- Communicate staff announcements in liaison with Executive management messaging- Assist with facility management and coordinate vendors and suppliers- Coordinate with Staffing Coordinator on recruitment updates and handling of induction- Oversee building coordination and maintenance to ensure the studio is in top condition- Work with front of house and client services departments to organize schedules, calendars and events effectively- Record minutes in meetings as necessary- Strive to make Luma an enjoyable and friendly environment for staff to work in- Organize flights and accommodation for Luma supervisors and crew members- Provide general administrative duties as requested by the Culture Manager- Plan fun.
