Luma is an artist owned, artist run visual effects studio with a strong emphasis on studio culture.
We’re serious about having fun and are looking for someone who is committed to making sure our studio is lively and enjoyable and a home for our crew. The Culture Coordinators role will constantly strive for excellence using a combination of sound coordination skills and a can-do, positive attitude. The successful candidate must be comfortable with rallying crew, pushing the boundaries, and be incredibly positive.
The role reports directly to the Culture Manager and is a full-time position from 9:00am to 7:00pm, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of after hours work on occasion.
You Can
- Plan and execute engaging activities and events for the LA studio on a regular basis
- Communicate staff announcements in liaison with Executive management messaging
- Assist with administrative duties in Staffing as needed
- Assist with facility management and coordinate vendors and suppliers
- Complete induction for new hires
- Oversee building coordination and maintenance to ensure the studio is in top condition
- Work with front of house and client services departments to organize schedules, calendars and events effectively
- Record minutes in meetings as necessary
- Strive to make Luma an enjoyable and friendly environment for staff to work in
- Provide general administrative duties as requested by the Culture Manager
- Plan fun. Roll out fun. Have fun.
You Have
- A degree or qualifications in Event Planning, Business Administration, Human Resources, Hospitality or any related field
- Previous experience in a role similar to this position
- The ability to thrive independently as well as part of a team
- The drive to excel at operating in a fast paced and demanding environment
- The commitment to always providing the highest standard for the needs of the crew
- Mastered Google Programs such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc.
- A highly motivated, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- The ability to multitask while keeping a high level of attention to detail and organization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in one-on-one and large group scenarios
- The love for taking initiative, responsibility, and ownership for your work
- The thirst for gaining knowledge and growth
- Strong Critical thinking and decision making skills
- The authority to work in the U.S
