CS4 x64 Can't convert image modes?

Sorry for another thread in as many days, but can anyone else successfully convert image modes in CS4 x64?

32bit > 16bit > 8bit

On two vastly different systems, photoshop CS4 crashes instantly on different files while converting. Anyone else experiencing this?

I opened a hdr and tiff 32, converted both to 16 and then 8 bit. Worked fine.

(Vista64 and cs4 64)

Thanks for confirming then, I didn’t think there would be a problem this big.

But I’ve got two systems, one xp64 (old machine) and another vistax64 (dx10 new machine) and both are crashing when converting and have completely different hardware.

I might try a fresh reinstall. :sad:
