CS4 Matte Pallette

#1

Hey guys,

I have designed a matte pallette for use in Adobe photoshop CS4. All the common commands are there. It is designed so that you dont have to stretch over to your keyboard for the complicated keyboard shortcuts.

Its my way of saying thanks for the support over the last three years.

It was available free, however my computer is now dying and I am unable to get funds to replace it which will mean four months of not matte painting. I am now selling it on my blogsite. If my computer was not constantly bluescreening and losing my work it would still be for free.

Look forward to your feedback

Rich

The file is on my blogsite Richards Images
Click the upper right hand link called buy now.

Open with adobe extension manager it follow the instructions to load.

Photoshop needs to be switched off, it may need switching off twice. To access the pallette go to windows on the tool bar and look under extensions.

To those of you who got the free version well done I have had some excellent feedback.

I just started playing with this palette. I like that placed an order of how process the plate first. There is a few things I dont usually do so Im playing a bit. I did however make a wide version so I can keep it up at the lower part of my screen while painting.

I have started playing with a more ergonomic version, yes there is a natural order to it. I am also planning on setting up actions. I am looking at adding title safe and automatic screen resolution similar to after effects, you can set up to the correct aspect ratio. I am also programming a gamma crush in lab colour.

Glad you like it, as it is in Beta I appreciate feedback such as this. I found the palette quite useful.

I originally set it up as a learning palette for noobies however it evolved into a established palette.

Hey man this could be very promising!
I personally prefer using keyboard shortcuts to use my tools but if you loaded this up with lots of useful actions that will cut down on the mundane aspects of day to day matte painting , I could see myself along with many other matte painters paying a good price to speed up the work flow.
