CS3 Brush Issue

Hi people.
Sorry if something similar has been posted before, I’ve tried many searches but don’t really know how to describe the problem accurately.
The brush has no transparency until you take one of various actions to refresh the document, then it looks normal again.
I’ve used CS3 on this machine (Q6600 with 2 gigs of ram and Radeon HD3850, just got the latest video drivers) many times before but recently formatted and had to reinstall.
Any help is appreciated.

I don’t really see how to help you, what do you exactly mean with “refresh the doc” ?

Like if I change zoom for example…suddenly all the brush strokes look normal again.

OK turns out it was an issue with my Radeon HD3850 and the Catalyst 9-1_xp32_dd_74230 driver.

I’m using an older driver now and it’s fine.

Always check if you are useing the newest drivers :wink:

The newest gave me this problem…I had to go back to 8-12_xp32_dd_72271 which i think is now responsible for some problems i’m having with windows media player…i can’t seem to win.
